The Twins are looking for a backup C to replace the awful hitting John Buck. They also need a serviceable catcher of the future and kill two birds with one stone. The Indians get a high end reliever that has struggled with the twins as well as a potential starting CF. The Indians asked for Muren to add MiL depth.
