Mariners are selling Jason bay to the Pirates for top prospects in Kyle Seager as well as MLB Reliever Siegel
There is no room for Jason Bay on the mariners right now with Legend Ichiro Suzuki raking for them atm in front of him.
Kyle Seager is raking in Triple A right now and is can be very good @ the MLB level.
The Pirates need a new outfielder after starter Corey Hart is out for 4 months as they are in win now mode being the #1 record in the MLB.
Joe Siegel is struggling atm, but he has been very consistent in the past and a change of scenery might help him.
He is also primarily a cap move as well as the Mariners retaining 70% of Bay's cap, but that is the price to pay in order to get two big prospects.
