10 Pirates - Mariners Trade - VETOED

Mariners are selling Jason bay to the Pirates for two top prospects in Kyle Seager and Tyler Waldron as well as MLB Reliever Siegel
There is no room for Jason Bay on the mariners right now with Legend Ichiro Suzuki raking for them atm in front of him.
Kyle Seager is raking in Triple A right now and is can be very good @ the MLB level, and Waldron is a young SP with alot of potential.
The Pirates need a new outfielder after starter Corey Hart is out for 4 months as they are in win now mode being the #1 record in the MLB.
Joe Siegel is struggling atm, but he has been very consistent in the past and a change of scenery might help him.
He is also primarily a cap move as well as the Mariners retaining 70% of Bay's cap, but that is the price to pay in order to get two big prospects.

I'm going to say no. Pirates giving up way too much IMO for Bay who hasnt been very product lately.

Yeah it seems like the Pirates are giving up a lot for someone who has barely been hitting .250 and getting caught stealing constantly now. Maybe if the Pirates don’t offer as much I’d be okay but it’s also only a 1 year deal so the Mariners don’t really seem to be getting anything and giving up some good prospects. It’s a no from me
