Team needs updated 5/10/19: Left field, bullpen

Willing to listen to offers on:

SS Alex Gonzalez
(screenshot posted below)
A-Gon has been a solid if unspectacular contributor at the plate and on the field for the Jays. In 481 MLB games, the 25-year-old has slashed .269/.332/.433 (OPS+ 96) with 4.6 WAR. 56 HR (including a career-high 25 in 1996), 46 SBs, and improving glovework.

Not looking for a lot, perhaps a 2-3 star young prospect in return. A decent lefty out of the 'pen who could help a contender during the stretch run. Toronto would be willing to pick up a portion of Cook's contract in the right trade.

John Olerud is on the final year of a contract that will pay him $6.5 million for the 1997 season. The Blue Jays are looking to obtain one, if not two serviceable or better major-league relief pitchers in exchange for the one-time AL batting champ.
