Browns/Raiders Trade - APPROVED

I'm sending back the 5th because Thomas is 31 and regression is going to be more significant this cycle. Presumably and hopefully I'll get 2 young starters out of this. He gets a pick to possibly draft a project to replace Thomas when he retires. Thomas isn't going to help my team over the hump at this point. Too many parts needed. Trying to do what the real Cleveland seems unable or unwilling to do.

What I don't like about this:

  • The best lineman in the game leaving for just picks coming back - I'd rather see a player. Especially since that 1st and third are likely to be late in those rounds.
  • The Browns having three 1st round picks if this deal goes through.

wyrmreaver give me a break on the 3 first Rnd picks.....I have the worst team in the game. I mean come on.. Oakland doesn't have anyone that equals that value that Oakland would truthfully consider trading for an aging LT

So the 5th round pick your sending back is going to replace the best lineman in game in a couple years? Haha.

I'm not sure. I see both sides here. Id tend to lean toward approving because I can see the logic in trading a good player when your rebuilding and get draft picks....but it doesn't happen in nfl like it does in other sports. This trade will basically tell set the trend for the rest of the cycle. I'm really not sure. Gonna sleep on this.
