The Denver Broncos

Owner: Al Davis- He bought the Broncos from Elway since someone stole his Raiders from him. He plans on bringing the old school Raider's bad boy attitude and instilling it into this fearsome defense. He is looking forward to making the AFC West the most physical division and to try and punish the usurper who now owns the Raiders

Offense: Denver - Al Davis hasn't decided who he wants to hire as an oc yet nor does he know what style of offense he wants to run as he is still trying to figure out who are the best people on his offense mainly at qb and hb

Defense: Seahawks (4-3) - Al Davis is going to use a mix of what the Seahawks and Raiders used in 2015. They also plan to be more along the lines of zone blitzing with some Tampa 2 possibly thrown into the mix.

Season 1 Preview - QB
Projected Depth Chart
1. Paxton Lynch- (74 OVR)
2. Mark Sanchez- (72 OVR)
3. Trevor Siemian - (60 OVR)

Coming as no surprise to anyone the word coming out of camp is the starting job is Lynch's to lose. Al Davis is considering if he wants to keep 3 qbs or possibly cut Sanchez and try and develop the 2 young guys or possibly let Siemian walk as he may be the worst one by far. Lynch has a cannon of an arm with 93THP to run any style of offense. The biggest question the media has had for Al Davis is if he will rely on Lynch to carry the team or let the ground game take the pressure off of his young franchise qb.

Season 1 Preview - HB
Projected Depth Chart
1. C.J Anderson- (84 OVR)
2. Devontae Booker- (72 OVR)
3. Ronnie Hillman- (76 OVR)

For now C.J Anderson has the lead in camp with Booker not far behind as the coaches are loving the fact that he can run routes better than the other backs at the moment with 61 RTE. Al Davis isn't sure if he wants to carry more than 3 RB's at the moment but if he is going to carry 4 then Bibbs and Thompson will have to fight it out to see who takes the last spot on this roster. If the RB's can keep the ball in their hands and not put it on the turf this offense may be tough to stop with the weapons they have through the ground game.

Season 1 Preview - WR

Projected Depth Chart
1. Demaryius Thomas- (87 OVR)
2. Emmanuel Sanders- (88 OVR)

3. Marlon Brown- (73 OVR)
4. Cody Latimer- (68 OVR)
5. Beenie Fowler- (71 OVR)
6. DeVier Posey- (66 OVR)

Here is another shocker DT is the number 1 wideout on the depth chart at the moment in camp. Al Davis told the media today that he has 2 star wideouts and a lot of young talent that they need to groom. He is debating bringing in Tim Brown to try and be a WR coach to try and get as much as they can out of these young guys. One of the guys Al Davis is expecting to make a big splash in camp is Mose Frazier who isnt even listed in the top 6 on the depth chart. If the Broncos can get even average level play from the back half of these WR's then they may be in good shape to give opposing DB's issue matchup wise.

Season 1 Preview - TE

Projected Depth Chart
1. Virgil Green- (79 OVR)
2. Jeff Heuerman- (71 OVR)
3. Henry Krieger-Coble- (61 OVR)

The biggest question mark on the offensive side of the ball outside of if Paxton is a true franchise QB is what are the Broncos going to do at TE this year. Virgil Green will probally get the nod to start but he is also getting up there in age being 28. The broncos may have a nice young catching TE in Heuerman to replace Virgil later down the road. The talk is they may try and bring in the ghost to the post as a TE coach who played for the Al Davis back when he owned the Raiders. Mr.Davis talks highly of the 1 year player who missed last season because he tore his ACL in rookie camps.

Season 1 Preview - OL

Projected Depth Chart
LT- Russel Okung- (82 OVR)
LG- Max Garcia- (70 OVR)
C- Sam Brenner- (68 OVR)
RG- Connor McGovern- (66 OVR)
RT- Darrion Weems- (69 OVR)

The Broncos have a young offensive line who are decent but may cause the offense to stall out some drives vs the amazing pass rush of the AFC West. It will be interesting to see how they handle facing the Raiders with Mack and co barreling down on them followed by the Chiefs defense. If the offensive line can protect and keep Paxton upright along with forging running lanes for the plethra of RB's at their disposal they should be good enough to keep them in games long enough to win it in crunch time. If Mike Tice can make these men better than average it will be a testament to his teaching.

Season 1 Preview - LE

Projected Depth Chart
1. Derek Wolfe- (86 OVR)
2. Calvin Heurtelou- (59 OVR)
3. Vance Walker- (79 OVR)

Wolfe will be an anchor for this team to try and free up pass rushers while trying to collapse the pocket. In what seems to be a shock to most people Vance has been demoted to third on the depth chart in favor of Heurtelou. They seem to think the 23 year old will be good in certain formations considering he has very good strength(90) and may see time to spell Wolfe in certain formations. Will be interesting to see how this plays out through out the rest of camp.

Season 1 Preview - NT

Projected Depth Chart
1. Darius Kilgo- (61 OVR)
2. Calvin Heurelou- (59 OVR)

3. Sylvester Williams- (74 OVR)
4. David Moala- (58 OVR)

As Mentioned in the LE Heurelou is very raw talented wise but may fit better as a NT for the Broncos compared to being on the edge where he may not be as good. No matter who wins since both are under 25 years old the Broncos interior Dline may be stout and very good for years to come. Mr.Davis is looking to bring in John Matuszak as the defensive line coach to try and get the most out of these young men.

Season 1 Preview - RE

Projected Depth Chart
1. Adam Gotsis- (68 OVR)
2. Eddie Yarbrough- (62 OVR)
3. Jared Crick- (70 OVR)
4. Shaneil Jenkins- (61 OVR)

The Broncos second round pick of this years draft is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition in camp when it comes to the RE spot. Yarbrough has shown some flashes of promise that could let him keep the #2 spot and spell Gotsis throughout games. Billy Winn has continued to disappoint Mr. Matuszak and Mr.Davis i wouldn't be surprised if he was one of the first ones cut when it comes time.

Season 1 Preview - LOLB

Projected Depth Chart
1. Von Miller- (99 OVR)
2. Shaquil Barret- (80 OVR)

3. Vontarrius Dora- (57 OVR)

The reigning superbowl MVP is the leader of the whole LB corps. Barret looks to spell as a pass rusher whether in nickle or in the base defense coming from the edge not caring which side it is on. Not much to be said here besides offensive lines better find Von before every snap.

Season 1 Preview - MLB

Projected Depth Chart
1. Brandon Marshall- (90 OVR)
2. Corey Nelson- (61 OVR)

3. Dekoda Watson- (63 OVR)
4. Todd Davis-(64 OVR)

Outside of Marshall the middle of this linebacking corps is unproven and will need to step it up to make sure the offense has multiple chances to score. Nelson appears to be in the running for the second spot in the base 34 defense as LB coach Phil Villapiano has taken a liking to the speedster. Whether or not the kid pans out remains to be seen though.

Season 1 Preview - ROLB

Projected Depth Chart
1. DeMarcus Ware-(86 OVR)
2. Shane Ray- (73 OVR)

3. Kenny Anunike- (57 OVR)
4. Sadet Sullyman- (60 OVR)

For now the old man Ware tops the depth chart for the right side with the young gun Shane right on his heels. If Shane can prove that he can hold the spot down and be better in coverage Ware may only be on the field to relieve a tired pass rusher. Anunike has shown some flashes as a pass rusher but may find it difficult to find playing time behind all of the good pass rushers this defense has.

Season 1 Preview - CB

Projected Depth Chart
1. Chris Harris jr.- (93 OVR)
2. Aquib Talib- (90 OVR)
3. Bradley Roby- (83 OVR)

4. Lorenzo Doss- (67 OVR)
5. Kayvon Webster- (71 OVR)
6. Taurean Nixon- (61 OVR)

Man does the DB coach Charles Woodson and Assistant DB coach Champ Bailey have their hands full trying to teach the bottom 3 better technique. If Roby can improve on his press i wouldn't be surprised to see Talib fall to #3 on the depth chart as it looks like the Broncos are trying to trend younger in all areas to start the season. It feels like the only reason Doss has an edge over Webster is because of how he plays in zone at the moment.

Season 1 Preview - SS/FS

Projected Depth Chart
SS-T.J. Ward-(85 OVR), Will Parks- (68 OVR)
FS- Darien Stewart- (86 OVR), Antonio Glover- (63 OVR)

Parks is looking to learn all he can from the hard hitting Ward as its obvious that Mr.Davis wants Parks to take over for him once Ward retires or is released for being to old. Parks is a hard hitting saftey just like Ward which seems to be the style of SS that the Broncos want to go with this year. Stewart may lose his starting job to Glover before long the kid seems to already be better in coverage but the biggest concern for him as of now is if he will be lost out their while playing center field. Time will tell but as of now this Defense the Broncos have built looks very tough and wants to get after the QB's and punish WR's who cross into their territory.

Al Davis has decided that the 3-4 is not for him and his team and is going to a 4-3. Along with that he mentioned that demarcus ware will be going to RE for the remainder of his career.

After blowing off the Denver press after the week 1 win vs the Panthers Al Davis has decided he wont be taking questions but will make a statement on the game vs the Colts.

I'd like to take this time to say as happy as I am we have started 2-0, the week 2 performance the offensive line and RB's put up in the ground game was abysmal and needs to be addressed if they want to even have a shot at winning in the weeks ahead. The defense played well holding the Colt's to 3 points and under 100 yards but the pass rush was non existent and that is highly unacceptable seeing how we have last years SB MVP along with Ware and Wolfe.
