Madden 17 Team Selection (Veterans of Madden 16)

The time is here!

If you are tagged in this post (and only if you are tagged) please list your Top 8 team choices for Madden 17 in order of preference. pack1797 and I will then sit down and assign teams based on the following criteria:

1. Contribution to the league
2. Time in the league
3. Skill level

We will try to spread guys out through the conferences and divisions to keep things competitively balanced. We do not want (if we can avoid it) to put three of the top users in the same division or 7-8 of the Top 10 users in the same conference. We also do not want a division with one strong user and 2-3 guys that likely have no shot of beating that user for a division title.

We try to give everyone one of their top 2-3 teams. We find that this works better than a draft as a user picking at the bottom of the draft could, conceivably, wind up with their 20th favorite team (although we may need to shift to that when we get 32 users). We are not always able to get guys their top 2-3 teams though due to multiple reasons so that's where the selection criteria above comes in.

After Matt and I complete the team assignments for veterans of Madden 16, we will go to any new members (or returning members joining for Madden 17) and get their selections. We will then release the team assignments for everyone signed up for Madden 17 prior to the Super Bowl on Sunday, July 10.
