Despite the game being only 2 months away no news is out about the game which is par for the course. That's suppose to change tomorrow with something coming out. The speculation is that it has to do with Olympics. I'll keep this thread updated as news comes out over the next few months.


League Expansion and Custom Leagues
  • You can now add expansion teams to your league. 10 pre-built expansion teams have been added to the game.
  • You can create a custom league with up to 36 teams features, current, past, expansion and Euroleague teams.
Team Builder for 2k
  • You can now create teams online with logos, uniforms and arenas that can be download by others and put into the game.
That's a huge addition to 2k and something that will likely push the Madden team. Adding a team builder feature to Madden would be huge for a lot of guys. Especially when guys want to relocate but do not like the default options. I'm not sure if the custom league would have the same appeal but it is interesting. Props to 2k for continuing to innovate and push the envelope with their game modes. Now let's just hope their online leagues get sorted out lol .

Euro Teams
Eurohoops has revealed the NBA 2K17 Euroleague teams this year, featuring 21 of Europe’s top teams, and for the first time, it includes all 16 competing Turkish Airlines EuroLeague teams from the upcoming season. Also, according to Eurohoops, the five additional teams come from the 7DAYS EuroCup.

No word yet on whether or not the Euroleague will be available in any other modes.

I was actually reading that article when you posted it. Brandon can add this to the first post and we can keep a running tally of features like we do with the Madden 17 news and info thread.

The thing that I like about this is they took a feature that was added last year and the rebranding/relocating and then added some more bells and whistles to it and made a new feature. I really like how you can download other peoples work which of course reminds me of the team builder from NCAA.

One of these days I am going to do a classic team my league and the 6 extra spots will come in handy. I noticed in the picture you can just do playoffs and also start from todays date two things that I personally don't see me using much but I am sure others will.

I saw this info today. But I'm not sold on this game until 1) they release a pretty good online association mode (I want that so bad) and (2) their servers and matchmaking for pro-am work better.

The only reason I bought 2k16 was for the pro-am, and it was an absolute mess. The matchmaking didn't work at all the first month, so I couldn't even get into a game. And then it never really worked with my friends, so we couldn't even play together.

The Australian National team confirmed to be in with rumors of the 92 dream team. Nobody knows yet if they will be a new mode or just in play now.

The Australian national team has been confirmed for the game would need to get deals with some of the missing players. It would be cool if you could add them to myleague. I know the big issue for the 92 dream team is Barkley who typically isn't in any video games.

That's big news on Barkley and I would think that also means he will be on the classic teams he is missing on. One of the most requested classic teams not in the game is the Barkley suns because without him on it the team is useless.
