This week we're starting a new tradition here at PX1spots.com, and bringing you a special look at the biggest game on the schedule for week 12. The undefeated Baltimore Ravens head into the most hostile of territories to play the NFC best New Orleans Saints. Hold on to your hats, because it's gonna get bumpy in the Superdome this week.

The Saints are 9-1, rolling over the rest of the NFC so far this season. Drew Brees and company has found a new secret weapon to add to their proficient offense. It just happens to be on the other side of the ball. The Saints defense means business this year, and has allowed only 203 points through ten games. Their only loss was an early slip up against the Browns. They rank 4th in the league in total defense.

The Ravens bring in a balanced offensive attack that earns it bones by keeping the opponent guessing. The Ravens defense has specialized in keeping opposing offenses off the field. they rank 5th in total defense, and are first against the rush. They currently hold a seemingly insurmountable lead in the AFC North, and are in the drivers seat for home field advantage in the top heavy AFC.

Now to the questions.

SAINTS
Your team has broken convention this season and has benefited from a top ranked defense, as opposed to just out scoring your opponent. What have you done differently?
First of all, the addition of Jairus Bryd has made our defense a complete unit. He really gets the guys on defense going. One thing we do different is run a 3 safety scheme. This allows us to be physical to stop the run, and still able to stop the passing attack. Both of our starting safetys Jairus Bryd, and Kenny Vaccaro have a league high 9 interceptions each. Adrian Wilson and Raphael Bush usually alternate at being the 3rd safety and compliment our defense tremendously. Rob Ryan has done a great job at coming up with gameplans to confuse the opponents offense.

How important is home field advantage in the playoffs to your team?

Very important. We haven’t lost in the dome this year, and we wont. Our fans are the best in the league and they give us a huge advantage

At this point in the year, is there a NFC team that can beat you?

There are a few teams that have given us some trouble. any team can beat us if they play better, look what happened in Cleveland in week 2, they picked us apart in every aspect. Since then we have gotten smarter and better. However, I do believe we are the best team in the NFC.

You guaranteed a victory over the undefeated Ravens. How do you plan to follow through on that?

The way we are playing right now, no body can beat us. At this point in the season our guys are running on all cylinders. Our coaches have prepared a good gameplan for the Ravens. Rob Ryan is going to dial up his signature complicated blitzes, and have Joe Flacco flustered all day.

Any concerns about giving them more incentive with that comment?

No.

RAVENS
Undefeated headed into week twelve! Can you finish the season undefeated?
While it feels great to be undefeated up too this point in the season and an attempt at history would be great. You have to put the team in the best position to win in the post season and that involves keeping your guys healthy. But too answer the question .yes I do think this team could go undefeated and to claim home field that mite just be the case..

How has the loss of your starting running back affected your game plan?

On the loss of Ray Rice it was tough to lose a pro bowler on the field and a brother in the locker room. But on the field we were lucky to three solid options behind Ray.Forsett has been in this system before and is the consummate pro. Both Pierce and Taliafero are young hungry backs that are powerful runners and have the style we like..So when you lose a guy like Ray it takes a combined effort and the next man up has to do his job.

Who do you feel are the biggest threats in the AFC, and where would you not want to play a playoff game?

The Chiefs and the Pats are putting together solid seasons in the conference and have been dominant on the field thus far. Both teams pose a threat in the conference and in the competition for home field should be fun coming down the stretch. As far as where we wouldn't want to play New England is always tough place to play in even more so in the playoffs. But we have shown in the past the ability too go on the road in the post season and win.

The Saints coach has guaranteed a victory against you this week. What's your reaction to that?

As for the New Orleans head coach guarantee im glad he is feeling confident. But my mama always told me only guarantees in life are death and taxes.Go Ravens...

Well there you have it. These two teams haven't gotten to the point they're at this year by being passive. Both teams are confident headed into week twelve and their prime time showdown. Vegas shows this game as a Pick Em, if that helps you understand how closely they're matched.

That's enough talk from me, be sure to check with PX1sports.com to watch this and other exciting league games live on twitch. This weeks game of the week is scheduled for Wednesday October 8th at 11:00 pm est. Be there.
