I'm going to say no. I tried to find an example of this in real life and couldn't. Generally older guys are traded for something like a 5th or 6th round pick. A 3rd could be a potential starter. Not many teams are willing to give that up for one year rental of an older player. I'd probably approve a 5th but not anything higher.

I agree with Maj......I don't see Mebane being worth more than a 5th or 6th rounder pick. He's too old to trade for what I consider good draft position.

I hear ya. That is part of why CPU trades were banned initially. EA can't get the AI not to throw 10 HB screens a game. How can they get it to handle trades realistically? lol
