The Colts are a mystery. As simple as it can be explained, the should have been better than they have. But they've lingered near the bottom of the AFC for 5 seasons. For two seasons, they had no leadership, but that isn't an excuse. Even when they did, they failed to live up to expectations. We can make any excuse we want to, but facts are facts.
Ownership returned in 2019, and the situation was dire. Interim ownership had all but ruined this once promising franchise. 2019's season ended with a gentle thud and a four win season for the Colts. The roster was in shambles, the fanbase was in a state of shock, and the division was a far away dream.
Then the offseason started...
Indy is down, but not out. They are beaten, but not broken. The war for supremacy is not complete, and the Colts still have a say in who reigns in the south.
The winds are changing....
