PHILADELPHIA EAGLES SEASON PREVIEW
Welcome back Eagles fans! "Jazzy" Pack, the teams new owner, along with head coach Chip Kelly are excited about the upcoming season, and you should be too! A lot has changed in Philly since the last time the reigning NFC East champions took the field, and we're here to tell you, there's never been a more exciting time to be an Eagle's fan.

The sudden sale of the franchise to Thelonious "Jazzy" Pack raised a lot of eyebrows around the league. When asked for comment, Pack said,
"It's been a life long dream of mine to be a part of the NFL, and when the opportunity to purchase the Eagles came along, I just couldn't pass it up. This is one of the most respected franchises in the NFL, and we plan on adding to that legacy by bringing Philly it's first Super Bowl Championship!"

To add to changes this year, coach Kelly has adopted a new offensive strategy. While the Eagles have been known for their up tempo offense, rumor has it that the team will look different on offense this year. One could speculate that locking up All-Pro HB Lasean McCoy long term, along with #1 receiver Jeremy Macklin, that the eagles offense couldn't possibly change that much. Coach Kelly was quoted as saying "We move or we die, we adapt or we get left behind as an offense." It remains to be seen just what the coach means by that.

The Eagles draft, while lacking in flashy names, was obviously used to primarily add depth to the roster. Highlights include 1st round pick number 25 overall RG Jeremy Reedy. This 6'6, 338 lb rookie is already sharing snaps on the first team, and will bring some youth to the o line along with LG Parker Massey (6'4" 290 lbs), and C George Joyner (6'2" 296 lbs.) Also making coaches smile in the off season is rookie WR Sidney Rodriguez out of Vanderbilt. While still "rough around the edges", this rookie can be expected to be on the field more and more as the season progresses.

So as you can see, a lot has changed in Philly. Hopefully, what won't change is the Eagles recent success. Time will tell, but whatever happens, it should be fun to watch.
