With a season full of injuries behind them the Cowboys look to bounce back after having a terrible 4-12 season.
The good thing that came out of last year was the number 4 overall pick which was the very impressive outside linebacker Phillips that has replaced that aging Sean Lee. Zack Benjamin has moved to the other side and McLain stays in the middle to help out these young backers. The Cowboys have continued to struggle with the run but adding youth and speed will hopefully put them back were they need to be as an overall run defense. Henry Melton has been added for depth at DT and John Parham and Demarcus parker have sured up the pass D. The Cowboys are really excited about Parker who is a superstar in the making. He will one day replace the void left by Scandrick in the off-season.
There wasn't any changes made for offense expect they are back at full strength and as long as they can all stay healthy a return to the playoffs should be in the near future.
Defense was the focus in free agency as well as the draft let's see if this potent offense combined with a revamped defense can be the recipe for a great bounce back season.
