Q: Great game. Fun one for the fans to watch. Probably the best Offensive effort we've seen since you have been coach. Give us your summary of the game.

Coach:
Today we were all able to get everyone on the same page. The bye week allowed us to regroup and come out with a better offensive plan. The defensive played great as they usually do, and this time the Offense was able to match their level of play and take advantage of the turnover opportunities the defense gave them. We did have more penalties then I'd like to have seen, but overall I think we did a good job controlling the ball on defense, and moving the ball offensively.

Q:Speaking of penalties, you guys gave up some big plays on penalties. Rhodes getting a pass interface that ultimately allowed them to put points on the boards. As of late we've seen alot of penalties like this from him. Any comments ?

Coach:
Xavier is an aggressive player, likes to get after the ball. That's why we like having him out that. He also gets big takeaways as well, which is what we saw today. We are working to improve his technique so we can control the penalties but not change his aggressive game play.

Q: The team as a whole suffered a lot of penalties this game, especially on some big 3rd down situations. Thoughts on that?

Coach: Our plan coming out was to be aggressive on Defense and Offense. We knew Dallas has a great set of receivers and can make big plays. So everyone was a little fired up, maybe too much and it cost us on some big 3rd down situations. Its definitely something we will be working on. We can't keep going out there and making these kind of dumb penalties. Being aggressive doesn't mean we can't be more disciplined.

Q:The running game looked very balanced this week. We saw some bigger plays from the run game, but we noticed McKinnon taking a bigger role in this game. Fans are wondering, if there is a reason for this? any issues with Peterson?

Coach:
No. not at all. Peterson played a great game, we just don't feel its necessary to run him in the ground when we have guys like McKinnon who is a solid running back and instead we are choosing a more balanced approached. Peterson and McKinnon are different type backs, allows us to mix up our game on the ground. Today that proved to be effective.

Q:This week you guys got some big plays in the passing game. We got to finally see Jermaine Kearse picked up from free agency come alive, with 2 TDs and close to 100 in receiving yards. Bridgewater coming away with 5 TD passes and no interceptions. What has changed in these last few games?

Coach:
We had to get guys in the right places to be able to make more plays. We found a matchup that was favorable for Kearse and that's where we put him and he did the rest. Worked on getting Bridgewater more time from the Offensive line and picking plays that allowed him to make better decisions. We knew if we were going to be successful today, guys had to make those plays, minimize the drop balls and offense had to keep the ball longer. We couldn't expect our defense to keep up defensively, if they were out there all day because our offense wasn't staying on the field long enough. I think collectively, that worked for us today.

Q: Last game against the Rams, you lost Everson Griffen for 3 weeks. Zach Moore has been in to take his place. How would you rate his performance?

Coach: He did a good job out there. He had 3 big plays in which he tackled them for a loss. He has big shoes to fill as Griffen's replacement, but I think he held his own today quite well. The Defensive line as a whole controlled thier run game quite effectively.

Q: Overall, great effort by alot of players, who did you give your game ball on Offense and Defense today too?

Coach:
Gave the game ball to Bridgewater today. He went out there did exactly what we needed him to do. No turnovers today , scrambled to keep a drive alive, and just well executed passes all game. On defense, Both Blanton and Kendricks got game balls today. Between the both of them on the forced fumble by Kendricks, and Blanton recovering it, both of them just busy all day. Blanton getting an Interception and Kendricks with the most tackles for the day. I felt they both deserved a game ball.

Q: Great game, again. Keep up the good work, hope to see more of the same with next week's matchup against the Giants.
