Similar to our Rookie of the Week awards, we will be starting a Play of the Week program effective week 1 of Season 15. All plays will be submitted in this post to keep the forum traffic to a minimum. I will post the voting on Slack on a regular basis while allowing a little extra time for all teams to create their clips.
Any and all plays are eligible for this award. Here is the format we will use for rewarding the winning plays:
No player at 85 or more may be boosted. No attribute at 85 or more may be boosted.
Pass plays - The QB and WR that made the play can be boosted as well as any of the offensive lineman on the field. The OL allows those of you blessed with a QB and WR over 85 to still receive a reward for an outstanding play.
Run plays - RB, FB or OL may be boosted.
Defensive plays - Any player that is directly involved in the play may be boosted. For example: A sack with a fumble picked up and ran in for a TD. The player making the sack and the one that scored would be viable options.
Special Teams: Similar to defense, the player needs to be directly involved in the play to receive the boost.
Rewards by positions:
QB - +1 (AWR, PAC, TOR)
HB/FB - +1 (AWR, BCV, TRK, SPN)
WR/TE - +1 (AWR, CIT, RTE)
OL - +1 (AWR, IMP, RBK, PBK)
DL - +1 (AWR, PRC, FMV, PMV)
LB - +1 (AWR, PRC, TAK, POW)
CB/S - +1 (AWR, PRC, MCV, ZCV)
When you post your play, all I need you to include is the following:
Week of the play
Opponent
Title your play (ex. Brandon Davis fumbles away Super Bowl)
Here is a reminder of how to create a clip with Twitch. Also, to make it easier, when the play happens in your game, make a note of the quarter and time of the play to make it easier to find.
