Quarter Season Power Rankings

We’ve reached the quarter mark of the season, and i thought it’d be nice to take a look around the league and see how everyone is doing.

1. Seattle Seahawks (4-0) Seattle defense is allowing less than 10 PPG, and Wilson has only thrown 1 INT. Going to be hard to beat them when their defense is shutting you down and their offense refuses to turn the ball over.

2. Denver Broncos (3-0) Osweiler is on an MVP tear, already approaching the 1,000 mark, with 9TD and only 1INT. Defense has 7 INTs in 3 games, allowing barely over 10 PPG.

3. Atlanta Falcons (4-0) This offense will shash you to pieces. Matty Ice 14TD through 4 games, Tevin Coleman averaging almost 7 per carry. If you blink, you’re down 21.

4. Detroit Lions (3-1) This offense can score points in its sleep. Calvin on pace for a 1700yrd season. Defense doesnt make it easy to stay in games.

5. Pittsburch Steelers (3-0) Big Ben managing game just enough, Le’Veon Bell carrying offense with 6YPC. Defense is in full balll hawk mode with 8 INTs through 3 games.

6. San Francisco 49ers (3-1) Lone loss to the powerhouse Seahawks.

7. Indianapolis Colts (2-1) Luck is great, and has a new favorite target in Brandon Myers. Deadly duo of WRs in Myers and Hilton in a few years.

8. Buffalo Bills (2-1) Beat a quality Browns team, but big change at QB with the Petty duplication fixed.

9. Tennessee Titans (2-1) Mariota keeping teams honest with run threat, averaging 4 a game. If D can step it up, could be a good year for the Titans.

10. Minnesota Vikings (2-1) Minnesota defense came to play this year, led by Everson Griffen with 6 sacks already this season. A.P. has been quiet, hampering their offense.

11. Green Bay Packers (2-1) Rodgers having good start to season, Cobb and Nelson benefiting from Rodgers hot start, if he can cut some INTs, Green Bay could go on a hot streak.

12. Kansas City Chiefs (1-2) Charles is carrying offense, but Alex Smith INTs are hurting the Chiefs in a bad way.

13. San Diego Chargers (1-2) Rivers is slinging the ball like Brett Favre, all over the field for great numbers, but also to the other team a lot. Melvin Gordon isn’t helping offense much, averaging just 4 a carry, and almost nothing receiving.

14. Washington Redskins (1-2) Offense is struggling to move the ball, but defense is playing good enough to hold them over until offensive woes are solved. Justin Gray averaging 5 a carry, but less carries than Alfred Morris at 3.3 per carry.

15. St. Louis Rams (1-2) Rams Garoppolo stuggling to find receivers for touchdowns, only 2 TD passes on the year. Running game isn’t helping much averaging a combined 3.7 per carry. Defense is playing OK but offense needs to step up or its going to be a long season.

16. Cleveland Browns (1-2) Mettenberger barely over 50% completion, and that won’t get many wins. Ray Rice looks like he’s over the hill. Cleveland needs to be able to lean on the run when teams are defending the pass.

17. Philadelphia Eagles (1-3) QB Caroselle spins again, Philly has had 4 different QBs under center this season. McCoy looked promising against Dallas, but doesn’t everyone?

18. New York Jets (1-2) Offense is only averaging 10 a game, 2 QB system combining for 2 TD 8 INT. Ronnie Hillman looks like he has a lot of improving to do, as he hasnt rushed for more than 70 yards all season.

19. Dallas Cowboys (1-3) Manziel not what Dallas though he would be. Romo has played a total of 2 quarters this season. Dallas could be 1-8 when he returns from injury with Chris Ivory. Defense allowing over 100 points so far this season is never a good thing.
