It's early in the season, but it's never too early to re-sign your top players. The Panthers wasted no time this year in signing RG Trai Turner. Possibly the best young gaurd in the NFL, Turner is locked up for the next 4 years. And at only 24, that is a huge signing for the Panthers. At 88 ovr already and quick development, Turner appears to be the anchor in the o-line for the Panthers future. But did they give to much $. The Panther have a bunch of big name talents that are in the final year of their contracts and they won't be able to keep them all. Stay tuned throughout the season to find out who gets paid and who gets released.

Star WR Kelvin Benjamin didn't except the first offer the Panthers made. But the Panthers aren't planning on letting their top wideout walk. Sources have confirmed that the Panthers plan on letting RB Jonathan Stewart and OLB Thomas Davis test free agency after their contracts expire after the season. The extra cap space from these departures should leave plenty of money for the Panthers to throw at Benjamin. There are a few other players we expect the Panthers will let go after this season also. Mostly due to cap space and age. Stay tuned throughout the rest of the season for more Panthers roster news.

Panthers star WR, Kelvin Benjamin, has cut of negotiations with Carolina. It is unclear at this time if they will continue to negotiate later in the year or cut off the talks for good. Carolina could also franchise tag Benjamin, but that is a big price tag to pay. Carolina could also just let Benjamin walk and become a free agent. But until something happens, it's all just speculation at this point. Stay tuned for more news on this situation and all other Panthers roster news.

The Panthers signed CB Bene Beneikere today. The deal is reportedly for 4 years and worth around $25.8 M. At only 25 years old, this is a good young player that the Panthers locked up for the future. With the Panthers signing Benwikere and drafting Cam Sutton, Carolina looks to have their starting corners locked for the foreseeable future. There are just a few other players the Panthers are reportedly interested in re-signing this year. They seem to be trying to rebuild this team with good young talent in hopes of being competitive in the future. Stay tuned for more roster news out of Carolina. We expect a decision on Kony Ealy soon. The Panthers would love to lock up the 25 year old DE for the years to come.
