Starter
Today we are taking a look at the Carolina Panthers draft. The Panthers picked up an extra 2nd round pick to give them a total of 7 picks. They had another trade on the table for their 1st round pick but negotiations fell through. So they started off by selecting Leonard Fournette 5th overall.

Fournette's rare combination of speed and strength was exactly what the Panthers were looking for. With Jonathan Stewart getting up there in age, the Pantgers were looking to take a RB with their first pick. And the 6'1, 230lb back was their #1 target. The Panthers look for Fournette to start from day 1.

The Panthers then had back2back picks in the second. They selected Cam Sutton with one of those picks. Sutton has good speed and great man coverage skills for a rookie. Sutton looks to be penciled in as a day 1 starter also. They are hoping he can be the difference maker the secondary has been missing since Josh Norman departed the team.

With their other 2nd round pick, the Panthers took the LT, Adam Bisnowaty from Pitt. He will most likely be the future replacement for one of the OT positions. He is talented but still a little raw with his technique. But with some work we expect him to be a starter for the Panthers, in the near future.

In the 3rd round the Panthers were looking at the WR position. They were extremely pleased when the FSU receiver Rudolph was still on the board. In a time of divas at WR, Rudolph is anything but that. He is one of the best character guys from the draft. But this guy can also play. With good size, speed, and pro level route running he looks to be in contention for the slot WR position right out of the gate.

The rest of the Panthers' selections.

4th round- DE, Bryan Cox Jr Florida
5th round-DT, Montravius Adams Auburn
6th round-WR, James Quick Louisville

All-Star
looks like the panthers are aiming at getting up the field a lot. After seeing ATL's similar approach, this should make for some great football to watch.
