Phillip to start first game of career
The cowboys are looking for answers at the running back position and its time to give 2nd year back Demetric Phillip a chance. So far each back has a 2 yard per carry average this season and the team has the second worst yards per game average.
It has been very noticeable the last two games as the Cowboys held the lead late in the 4th quarter but failed to get the run game going which could help not only win the game but take pressure off of rookie Qb Collin Scott.
Something has to be done and it is time to see if Dallas what they have in Phillip and if he is the answer going forward. Christen Micheal will be a solid backup but 56yards a game isn't going to turn things around for this team going forward.
