So far we have had some major deals being made in Major League Baseball and we're still a day away from the official trade deadline. Here's a quick recap of the bigger deals. Feel free to post in the comments if I missed anything:
  • Astros acquire SP Scott Kazmir from Oakland
  • Pirates acquire 3B Aramis Ramirez from Milwaukee
  • Royals acquire SP Johnny Cueto from Cincinnati
  • Mets acquire RP Tyler Clippard from Oakland
  • Blue Jays acquire SS Troy Tulowitski from Colorado for SS Jose Reyes
  • Royals acquire UTL Ben Zobrist from Oakland
  • Nationals acquire Jonathan Papelbon from Philadelphia
  • Rangers acquire Cole Hamels from Philadelphia
  • Blue Jays acquire David Price from Detroit
  • Dodgers aquire SP Mat Latos and SP Alex Wood in three-team deal with Atlanta and Miami
  • Yankees acquire 2B Dustin Ackley from Seattle
  • Astros acquire Carlos Gomez from Milwaukee
  • Orioles acquire Gerardo Parra from Milwaukee
  • Blue Jays acquire Mark Lowe from Seattle
  • Twins acquire Kevin Jepsen from Tampa Bay
  • Blue Jays acquire Ben Revere from Philadelphia
  • Mets acquire Yoenis Cespedes from Detroit

So the Blue Jays get Tulowitski and Price while the Royals get Cueto and Zobrist. Hard to see a way both of those team do not win their divisions now. I think I still like my pick of the Royals winning the World Series too. What do you guys think? Are the Royals the favorite now? Blue Jays? Anyone surprised the Yankees have added nothing?

Yankees finally got in on the action picking up Ackley. I still kind of feel like I'm all in on Toronto. They certainly are. That team is going to be tough down the stretch.
