Well guys looks like our chiefs got off to the start the owner said they would. Head coach Demetrius Turner was able to pull out a win 27-21 over Afc rival Oakland Raiders. Turner said after the game that he knew going into the game that if we ran the ball effectively we would have a chance to pull it out. When your defense can also hold the team to 18 rushing yards that shows something is changing. The player of the game would have to be Marcus Peters who had a strip sack fumble recovery touchdown on Derek Carr in the 3rd quarter to win the game for Kansas City. Peters said after the game "once I saw the ball on the ground I knew if I got to it I would score, and well I did. So all quarterbacks better watch out cause who knows in the famous words of Bill Goldberg YOUR NEXT!" Next week we head to Denver, Colorado to take on the broncos.. let's all come out and root on our Chiefs and cheer them on to an 2-0 start to the 2019 season.
