This has become quite common this year, especially during user vs user Online Dynasty games. The game will either freeze at the matchup screen (where you change your uniforms) or sometimes during the game. Sometimes this can be caused by a bad user connection but most of the times it seems to be remedied by the following procedure:
PSN screen > Game > Game Data Utility > NCAA Football 14 >
(Y on 360) > Delete
The freezing issues are generally caused by a bug related to the uniform updates or a corrupted file. That doesn't cover 100% of the causes but a vast majority from what I've seen. The above process will fix most of them.
Note: If you have an offline dynasty you should backup your dynasty file before deleting the Game Data Utility file. Also, any downloaded uniforms will be deleted (the uniform store has been down and you likely won't be able to re-download them). Those are not ideal solutions but what we have to deal with unfortunately.
