The longest time of the season has come and gone! Professional football is back! With that news us here in the News Room have returned with your Cleveland Browns Pre Season Recap. First we will take a look at all the new faces we have here in Cleveland!

First we will take a look at the Free agents Cleveland signed.

Quarterback Derek Anderson

11 Year Pro Weight 230 HT 6'6" College Oregon State Type Strong Arm

From 2005 - 2008 Derek Anderson wore Brown and Orange. After a knee injury in 08' him and the Browns decided to part ways. After being gone for the past 7 years the fan favorite is back to bring veteran leadership to an offense that struggled at times last year. He looks to serve as a mentor Mettenberger. A role he shines in.

Wide Receiver Devin Hester

10 Year Pro Weight 190 HT 5'11" College Miami Type Speed

The greatest returner of all time has signed with the Cleveland Browns. A dream come true for owner Thomas Star. The first ballot Hall of Famer looks to bring his athleticism and electric energy to a team that could definetely use it.

Wide Receiver Nate Washington

11 Year Pro Weight 183 HT 6'1" College Tiffin Type Route Runner

Nate Washington has returned home to Ohio. Toledo native and Tiffin alum he brings a veteran poise to a wide receiver corps in need of a reboot.

Defensive Tackle Kendrick Elllis

5 Year Pro Weight 346 HT 6'4" College Hampton Type Nose Tackle

Danny Shelton needed a solid backup to give him a break here and there. Say hello to Kendrick Ellis. The perfect substitute for 2nd year player Danny Shelton.

Middle Linebacker Mason Foster

5 Year Pro Weight 241 HT 6'1" College Washington Type Run Stopper

A solid part of the Browns defense just got better with the Addition of 5 year pro Mason Foster. Karlos Dansby's workload will drop drastically with this signing.

Kicker John Potter

4 Year Pro Weight 219 HT 6'0" College W. Michigan Type Clutch

Travis Coons had a solid year but just did not want to put in the work the Browns wanted. Out is Coons and in is John Potter. One of the strongest leagues in the league look for this to be his breakout year!

Along with these key additions the Browns had a VERY SOLID Draft to help this team even further. Let's take a look....

Tight End Reggie Jackson

Drafted 1st Round 22nd Pick Weight 267 HT 6'6" College Wisconsin Type Blocking

The number 1 player on most experts big board took the ever so popular Draft Day Plummet. When he fell to the Browns at 22 it was a dream come true and the Browns scooped him up! The Browns quite possibly got the steal of the draft here. Only time will tell. Has the Browns bad luck with 1st round picks come to an end? We think so...

Free Safety Malcolm Walker

Drafted 2nd Round 44th Pick Weight 185 HT 5'10" College Miami Type Zone

Drafted as a corner the Browns quickly transitioned Malcolm Walker to FS to replace Gerod Holliman. He will be the Browns 3rd FS in 3 years. Many experts think his stong suit is the FS position.

Left Outside Linebacker Franklin Durham

Drafted 2nd Round 64th Pick Weight 228 HT 6'2" College Texas Type Balanced

One of the most versatile players in the draft fell to the Browns late in the Second round. If the Browns develop this man the right way he will become a force to be reckoned with.

The Browns finished the Pre Season with a 1-3 record. A entirley new offensive system coming in this year the Browns showed struggles of learning it. Though the Browns offense struggled the defense appeared to be in mid season form.

The Browns will be on the road for week 1 of the regular season as they travel to Cincinnati.

Join us next week as we have a full weekly recap of the first week of the season!
