4th Round - OT Dan Skipper, Arkansas

Dan Skipper 1.jpg
Tampa Bay lost their starting right tackle Demar Dotson in free agency and even though Dan Skipper might not be the option from day 1, the Bucs are confident he'll be a solid NFL tackle in the near future. Skipper is a mammoth of a man. Stands at 6'9" and weighs in at 326 pounds. Some reports even have him listed at 6'10". Nonetheless he's a big dude who's strong enough to get in the way of any pass rusher. The main worry to look out for with Skipper is if his feet are quick enough to deal with speed rushers. That'll be the make or break on Skipper's career but he should get plenty of chances to prove he can protect Winston.

5th Round - OLB Matt Milano, Boston College

The outside linebacker position is an interesting one for the Buccaneers. Lavonte David is a lock on the right side and after Daryl Smith retired, Jeremiah George is now slotted to start at the left side. Adding Matt Milano will provide a lot of competition for the starting left side though. In free agency they added multiple players and they'll all compete with Milano for a spot. Milano is a smaller linebacker who's decently quick. He's definitely got plenty of grit and being at BC probably added even more of that which will help him compete at a position this deep in Tampa.

6th Round - QB Mitch Leidner, Minnesota

Leidner 4.jpg
Leidner will likely start the season as the third QB behind former Georgia Bulldog Aaron Murray and he'll have lots of work to do before he shows he's ready to step in as the 2nd stringer. He's got NFL size at 6'3" 230 but he's got some drawbacks. He took most of his snaps out of shotgun at Minnesota so he'll need to learn how to run the west coast offense that Tampa runs. Leidner also has a tendency to determine where he wants to go with the ball before he even gets it and stares down his receivers which leads to throwing into coverage too often. However, head coach Dirk Koetter is confident that with time they can get Leidner where he needs to be and provide a solid backup option to Jameis Winston.

7th Round - Punter B.J. Fitzsimmons, Colorado

The Bucs lost their punter Bryan Anger in free agency and drafted Fitzsimmons to take over the punting duties. Fitzsimmons played for a good Buffs team in Boulder and now will be making his home in a much different area down in Tampa, Florida.
