Season 1 Week 8
Browns Dominate At Home
Hello again #BrownsNation! At the midway point your Browns are 3-5, not where we want to be, but we saw a dominating performance today! Your team returned to the Dawg Pound this week as they took on the Cardinals. It was a heartbreaking loss to the Rams the week prior, as Johnny scored enough points to win, but the defense was a real let down.... Not this week. The defense dominated. They only gave up 120 yards, and held the Cardinals to only a field goal after a 1st and goal. Kruger was back in the lineup after missing 4 weeks with a broken rib, and did he ever make a difference. Kruger finished with 3 Tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 INT to seal the victory! Your front 7 only gave up 23 yards on the ground, after Gurley scored 4 rushing TD's on them the week prior. The Cardinals came into the game on a win beating division rival the Baltimore Ravens. This win pushes your Browns to 3-5. The Ravens are 5-2, and if the Chargers somehow come away with the win this week, you'll have the Ravens at 5-3, with one more game between these 2. It's not crazy to say the Browns still might have a chance this year after the slow start. If Manziel continues how he played today. It could be very attainable! Let's check out the game highlights:

Another good story out of this game was the signing of veteran TE Fred Davis. The Browns signed Davis a couple of days before the game, and he already made an impact. Davis had 2 catches for 34, including a 30 yard reception. This was a welcome sign. Barnidge is sure handed, but there had been a struggle with that #2 TE spot in the receiving role. Housler and rookie Telfer both not finding the open space, but Davis shows his veteran skills in his first game with the Browns!

Gordon seems to be on a mission this year. He was just locked up into a 4 contract extension, and he grabs his 8th touchdown of the year. Fantasy owners love this guy, he is almost guaranteed a touchdown every game! Look out for Gordon, as it seems he is only getting better!

Browns are riding high after this 24-3 victory, and they plan to carry it into the Bengals game next week. Alot is riding on this game, as it is a divisional game, and they are playing catch up to the Ravens. Should make for some interesting football!
