Atlanta thumps Oakland, remains undefeated at quarter -way mark

Falcons dominate the raiders to the tune of 38-3
After thoroughly beating the Cardinals just a week ago, the falcons came out and put a beatdown upon the hapless Oakland Raiders. The defense was the true star of the game, notching 3 turnovers from Derek Carr while Matt Ryan and Coleman feasted upon the defense that seemingly played no defense. This defense is starting to gel, and it's showing on the field in the form of good technique and excellent execution. This is exactly why Dan Quinn was brought in. Meanwhile, the offense is looking lethal, displaying a strong run game and a very vertical passing game. The team is winning on 3rd downs on offense and getting off the field on 3rd on the other side of the ball, a tremendous key to winning football games. Despite how impressive Atlanta has been the last 2 weeks, they have been facing less than stellar competition. A tough stretch of their schedule is upcoming against the cowboys, panthers, 49ers, chiefs and then Rams. That's a very tough slate, and, if the team can continue their high level of play, we should have no reason to doubt their capabilities-- if they falter, Atlanta could merely be pretenders
