Helllllllllllllllo Cleveland. It's almost that time again, and your favorite NFL team is back at training camp, and getting ready for the upcoming season. There's alot to be excited about, from Johnny Manziel, to this young, explosive WR core, all the way to the stellar defense led by hometown favorite Joe Haden. We're going to go over alot of the offseason aspects of your team, and what to look forward to. We are definitely going to give you, "A Reason to Believe".
The Browns had an amazing draft class this year as they added 12 rookies to the roster. One that I think is going to put them over the top, and be division contenders for years to come. Let's give a quick recap of the new NFL players for the Browns.

i

Danny Shelton DT 6'2 339
1st Round Pick 12 Washington

Surprisingly athletic for his size, Shelton is viewed as the elite run-stopper in this year’s draft. Shelton is expected to come in and immediately shore up a run defense that ranked dead last in 2014. The Browns hope Shelton becomes a force that requires double-teams to stop him, helping to free up other defenders who can attack the quarterback and make plays on running backs in the lane. While his skill set will help stop the run, he can also get to the quarterback in passing situations.

Cameron Erving OT 6'5 313
1st Round Pick 19 FSU
Erving is a versatile lineman that can play all five positions along the line for the Browns. Erving projects as a center or guard in the NFL, though he may also compete for reps with Mitchell Schwartz at right tackle. He also provides insurance for the Browns as center Alex Mack is in the last year of his contract.

i

Nate Orchard LB 6'4 255
2nd Round Pick 51 Utah
The Browns expect Orchard to chase down the likes of Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Flacco and Andy Dalton for years to come after he recorded 18.5 sacks in 2014. Orchard is a high-motor edge rusher who plays at 110 percent on every down. While scouts labeled him more as a 3-4 edge rusher, the Browns believe he also has the versatility skill set to also drop back in coverage.

Duke Johnson HB 5'9 210
3rd Round Pick 77 Miami
One of the most explosive runners in the draft this year, Johnson should come in and immediately compete for the starting job with second-year running backs Isaiah Crowell and Terrance West. With his impeccable ability to get outside, Johnson should fit in perfectly with the Browns zone-blocking scheme. Johnson can also catch the ball out of the backfield.
Remaining Draft Picks:
  • Xavier Cooper DL 6'4 300 (3rd Round Pick 96 Washington State)
  • Ibraheim Campbell DB 5'11 208 (4th Round Pick 115 Northwestern)
  • Vince Mayle WR 6-2 225 (4th Round Pick 123 Washington State)
  • Charles Gaines DB 5-10 180 (6th Round Pick 189 Louisville)
  • Malcolm Johnson FB 6-1 231 (6th Round Pick 195 Mississippi State)
  • Randall Telfer TE 6-4 250 (6th Round Pick 198 USC)
  • Hayes Pullard LB 6-1 240 (7th Round Pick 219 USC)
  • Ifo Ekpre-Olomu DB 5-9 194 (7th Round Pick 241 Oregon)

  • TE Rob Housler 27 Years Old 6'5 250

Defense Wins Championships

DL and LB
The Browns bring a very strong defensive front this year. With the added experience of Randy Starks, they bring knowledge and youth to be able to stop the run. Phil Bennett returns with the addition of Danny Shelton, who is going to make an immediate impact. They show depth on the line as well with Hughes, and Winn returning, and the addition of rookie Xavier Cooper. The LB core is one of the strongest in the league. It's led by veterans Paul Kruger and Karlos Dansby, then also has the explosive run stopping athletic ability of Barkevious Mingo and rookie Nate Orchard. As for depth, the Browns also carry Craig Robertson, and 23 year old Chris Kirksey.

Defensive Backs
Chris Bigtex prides himself in making his defensive secondary a "No Fly Zone". While it may not be there quite yet, this defensive back crew looks good. Led by the face of the defense DB Joe Haden, they also added DB Tramon Williams. Gilbert is continuing to develop and should be a force to be reckoned with in a season or 2. Gilbert is only 23 years old, and is showing signs of being that premiere shut down corner. At the safety position you have the hard hitting veteran Donte Whitner, and up and coming Tashaun Gipson. Both add extreme value to the secondary.

This defensive crew is the major discussion point of this team as they try to rebuild the offense back up. Analysts believe they will finish top 5 if not top 3, and will be the focal point of this team as they try to start a dynasty here in Cleveland. It's going to no longer be all about Lebron here. You're going to see more and more people walking around sporting Browns apparel.

Johnny Money Manziel

Lastly, we cannot forget about the man who is going to lead your team. A social media mogul, (You can follow him on twitter @PX1Johnny) while he didn't play much his rookie year, with Hoyer now gone, Johnny looks to take the reigns and lead this Browns team to victory. Money is a firecracker, who is great at extending plays and making the tough throws. He will battle Thad Lewis, Josh McCown, and Connor Shaw for the starting spot, but all signs point to Johnny. If he delivers like he is capable of, there will be no stopping this team. He will have the assistance of a seasoned WR crew with Gordon, Bowe, Hawkins, and Hartline. Youngsters Benjamin and Gabriel will look to emerge this year too and give Manziel the support he needs. He also will have help to take the pressure off with what analysts are regarding the best RB trio in the league. Crowell will make the starting RB spot, but youngster Terrence West, and rookie Duke Johnson will see time this year, and between those three, this offense looks scary.

There it is Browns Nation! Your preview for 2015-2016 and many more years to come. After analyzing this team you will find, that this year's motto, fits this team perfectly, so that's what we leave you with:
