Hello Cleveland fans,

This offseason in Cleveland has been the most active since the Jimmy Hendrix took over management. Starting by the release of one of the greatest to play with a Browns jersey; Joe Thomas (with the Jets now). Future HOF Thomas was looking to make $14M a season making all the newer acquisition almost impossible to obtain. In addition to the famous left tackle, Gary Barnidge was also released by the Browns due to decline in performance.

Biggest free agency for the Browns included the addition of Linemen AJ Cann (Jaguars) and Jake Fisher. These two positions should create a better pass blocking while replacing Joe Thomas role at a much lower wage. At the receiving position, Cleveland brought back the much questioned Terrell Pryor Sr while bringing Marquess Wilson as a safety measure. Receivers have been an ailing position for the Browns after having Coleman missing the end of last season and Strong the year prior. Lastly, QB Speight was traded to the Cardinals for Mason Rudolph and a 3rd rounder. The new back up has great potential in case Browning is down.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Browns focused on a younger faster pass defense. After ranking 31st in defense, management brought in Quinten Rollins, Shaq Thompson, Da'Norris Searcy, Damarius Randall, and Wesley Woodyard. A man coverage legion should stay competitive with top receivers while continuing to get to the QB.

From the draft, the Browns didn't do too hot. Browns obtained SS Horne which should replace soon to expire Hill III. Paige Atkinson III was drafted to support the run game as TE Peak should see numerous targets soon.

Projecting Cleveland's season, Browns look at an 11-5 record if they can stay relatively healthy.
