2019 Season Preview

SF 49ers made playoffs for first time since 2014 season with an 9-7 record winning NFC West.
49ers team has improved each season since new Owner Joe Montana has bought team and after hiring
HC Mike McCarthy. After brining back west coast offense and drafting QB DeShaun Watson
and WR Mike Williams, Offense has seen remarkable improvment since that dreaded spread offense
in 2016.

QB DeShaun Watson > 286-444 3825 yds, 22 TDs
RB Carlos Hyde > 236-940 yds, 8 TDs
WR Mike Williams > 77-1194 yds, 7 TDs
WR Terrance Williams > 64-1014 yds, 6 TDs

2018 Defense stats
OLB Aldon Smith > 45 tkls, 16 sacks
CB Quincy Wilson > 42 tkls, 2 INTs, 1 TD

This year, 49ers drafted for depth and don't anticipate any rookies starting this year.
HC Mike McCarthy will be calling plays this year after OC David Shaw has decided to
return to college coaching. One of the few things he stated in press conference that he
wants to spread the ball around more to RBs, WRs and TEs.
